Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Tally - Personal Expense Manager app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by esWizardry (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Freemium / Ad Supported service.

Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, they reserve the right to modify the Application or charge for their services at any time and for any reason. Any charges for premium features or in-app purchases will be clearly communicated to you before a purchase is made.

The Application stores your financial data (accounts, transactions, categories, and budgets) locally on your device. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone. Such actions could expose your device to security risks and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

In-App Purchases and Freemium Features

The Application offers free and premium (paid) features. Premium features are unlocked through in-app purchases processed by the relevant app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). All purchases are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable store. The Service Provider does not directly process payment information.

Cloud Backup

The Cloud Backup feature allows you to save your data to your personal Google Drive account. By enabling this feature, you grant the Application permission to read and write backup files in your Google Drive. You can revoke this permission at any time through your Google Account settings. The Service Provider is not responsible for any loss of data stored in your Google Drive.

Currency Rates

The live currency exchange rates provided in the Application are sourced from third-party services and are provided for informational and convenience purposes only. The Service Provider makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of the exchange rate data. Do not rely on these rates for financial decisions without independent verification.

Third-Party Services

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. Below are the links to the Terms and Conditions of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

• Google Play Services
• AdMob
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Google Drive API

Internet Connection

Some features of the Application (Cloud Backup, Live Currency Rates) require an active internet connection via Wi-Fi or your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of internet access or if you have exhausted your data allowance. Mobile data charges, including roaming charges, remain your responsibility.

Device Responsibility

It is your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged and in working order. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if you are unable to access the Application due to your device’s condition.

Disclaimer of Liability

The financial calculations and tools provided within the Application (calculators, budgets, reports) are for personal organizational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any financial decisions made based on information or calculations provided by the Application.

The Service Provider may wish to update the Application at some point. You may need to download updates to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be compatible with your particular operating system version. The Service Provider may also cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end, and you must cease using the Application and delete it from your device if instructed to do so.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. You are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
